Great tips! Staying strong is the key. 🧠
Thanks
Most of the blade is thicker than the PDL space and requires compression of bone in order to be inserted. Do you think there might be cases where the bone is so dense and the PDL space so narrowed that luxator technique is not possible?
How do you put surgical gloves over the surgical gown cuffs

You saved my academic career 🫵🏻
I love watching how things are done on people, as a veterinarian. We have such wimpy little teeth! Isn't it cute?
Dental traumatology guidelines led me here. Nice informative video.
Hi just about to get the Sonya6400 and the ring flash you show in the video. Do you think this camera is ideal as I am just starting of in dental photography
Yep - excellent choice. The a6400 has a crop sensor which is good for dental photography. I recommend making sure you get the eTTL version of the ring flash - called the Godox MF-R76S+
@@LeedsSchoolofDentistry Thanks for that. I have ordered the ring flash you have advised, the sony 90mm macro lens but gone for the A7C, it was £400 more. Look forward to your further videos in the future.
I have GODOX MF12 I’m loving the results but I want to ask you should I buy the MF-R76S plus as I’m using alpha 7 IV with 90mm Sony G macro lens.
@@drhamzadentalandmedicalcenter I would stick with the MF12 unless you want a simpler set up :-)
Sir please make a video about braces,
jaw shavaring athahi
Great demonstration
Hey Dr. Thank you for your video I just got the Sony Alpha 6400 camera I just wondering what setting should I put my Camera on for dental photography as well as the ring flash. is there a way that you can export you setting so I can import the setting on my camera. Thank you
Hi, yes we will shortly be releasing some video tutorials on what to set your camera to, and we are working with Sony to provide what you have requested on their website. Please subscribe and be the first to know when these videos are released! :-)
Ring flash for Sony A7C..Should one opt for MF R76 without TTL or still buy MF R76 S+ There is a significant cost difference also.
For standardisation, I would shoot with the flash in manual mode so TTL on the the MFR76(s) is not needed. HOWEVER, the TTL functionality on the MFR-76(s) is extremely accurate and will mean you do not need to alter any exposure settings or flash power no matter the subject to camera distance. My advice, invest in the TTL version so you have the option of both. One thing not mentioned in this video is that the TTL (dental) version also has an easy way of adjusting the power ratio between the two flash tubes, which is useful for cross lighting or demonstrating texture.
london babyyyy
where can you buy that model?❤❤❤❤
What cameras did you have in the video?
Hi, the camera's being used are the Sony alpha 1, and the Sony a7IV :-)
It's helftul! thanks.
Thank you for the video Doctor, can I ask you Sir, what size and type of rotating file would you suggest for small cyst (or granuloma) non-surgical removal? Meaning over the apex... (Maxillary molar)
❤🎉
gracias por la simplicidad de su respuesta
Please help my bracket came off but it doesn’t have a rubber band on it it’s a bracket that you slide the wire through and it rebounded from my tooth and the ortho isn’t open for the next three days.
Video is hot garbage. The luxator technique displayed didnt even go down bone. Like all you did was release gingival cuff and then ext with forceps. You could have done the same with a spoon excavator or periodontal elevator. SMH man. SMH.
Thank you
thank you
GREAT video, thank you!
Excellent video, thank you!

Hello, amazing video! I see a lot of comments concerned about the water "waste", I understand the importance of keeping yourself as decontaminated as possible, but would it not be okay to turn off the water using your elbow during scrubbing? The same way you do it once you're done?
Thank you 🎉❤
Can it be used to prevent dry socket?
Such a cute and informative video. Glad dental traumatology guideline took me here. Thank you!
thanks

Hi, further details on our MSc's can be found here: medicinehealth.leeds.ac.uk/dentistry-masters
Great video. Thank you for posting.
I extremely appreciate the wonders of luxators! ❤️
Okay, could you please tell me what is the best position for mirror to give good vision avoiding water and avoiding water ? Add my other question is if I am right person, and my left hand have less control and my patient have pain in left side. Should I change my chair or should i keep try to reach it in my position ?
Keep your mirror a little bit further from the drill (the bigger the distance, the less water is going to reach your mirror). Also, you van ask your assistant to use the air syringe and to blow the water away from your mirror while drilling (air flow should be constant). Also, tjere is no switching hands in dentistry, if you are right handed, use your right hand to drill, you can ask your patient to turn their head slightly to right, and use your left hand to retract patient's cheek. Good luck
Can I send you my x ray
